• Lady Gaga unveiled her new album cover today designed by none other than media art darling Jeff Koons. The cover features a life-like sculpture of Gaga naked, cut with images of Botticelli’s "The Birth of Venus" and as a nod to Koons' stainless-steel balloon animals a metallic, blue ball rests between the singers legs. The sculpture will be on show for fans to see at the album release party in November. LATimes

In their first collaborative project, Drawing Room, London and Drawing Center, New York, will introduce parallel exhibitions exploring the relationship between linguistic communication and drawing in current art. The exhibit Marking Language will seek to define the properties of language and art but also express the relationship between the two. e-flux Haegue Yang will present her first solo show in Norway at Bergen Kunstall, one of the Nordic regions premier arenas for contemporary art. Yang's work, known for its eloquent and alluring articulation of visual abstraction, often combined with sensory experiences, is a series of pieces especially conceived for the space. In a continuation of her conversation with modern art, the artist pieces will be an exploration of Oskar Schlemmer’s Triadic Ballet. e-flux
